Yarn Tasting
Get ready for a tasting event like no other!
This feast for the senses offers participants a rich sampling of yarns specially curated for knitters and crocheters alike. Whether you are new to natural fibres or curious about the range of unfamiliar possibilities, you’re sure to learn something fantastic through this interactive experience.
This is an exclusive event that will include unique hands-on learning. You’ll try new tools, new yarns, AND take home over 250g in luxurious hand-dyed yarn!
Events are scheduled at The Thoughtful Artisan on Sunday afternoons, once per month from September to April. Alternatively, you can book a private sitting for your own group of 4-6 people at any time by contacting us directly at [email protected]. If you are reading this listing and it appears “sold out”, that means scheduled events are full until September.

Advance payment is required.
Due to the financial commitment and advance preparation required for this event, cancellations are not eligible for a refund. Just like concert tickets, we encourage you to find someone who is able to take your place. Also, if you do need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible via email to communicate this, as we will want to have an accurate guest list.
We do our best to ensure all events run as scheduled, but if something happens on our end that forces a cancellation, please rest assured the resolution will be handled quickly and professionally. This event requires a minimum of 4 participants to run. If a sitting falls short of this requirement, we will reach out to you no later than one week prior to offer an alternative date. If the alternative date presents a conflict for you, the ticket amount will be issued in the form of a store credit.Â
