Makers for Morocco

June 3 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Please join us in making blankets for the abandoned children of Morocco.

In support of the Rita Zniber Foundation, we are inviting yarn crafters and sewers to donate stash fibre and charitable stitch time to make blankets for the babies, children and teenagers who reside in the Meknes orphanage.

TWO DATES are being hosted at the Woodstock Public Library to support the organization, effort and completion of as many blankets as possible.

April 22nd – Fibre donations accepted and stitching kickoff. You are welcome to stay and use the time to socialize as we get started our projects.

June 3rd – Project drop off and completion help. Volunteers are encouraged to join us on site to help with any edging, seaming and completing of the final blanket projects.

Please visit the social media accounts (Facebook or Instagram) for more information about the needs driving this activity.
